Granny Flat Conversion
As second-generation hairdressers, our clients combined their creative flair with the Kiwi can-do attitude to realise their dream of having a hair salon in their very own backyard in Greerton, Tauranga. An existing garage and carport was used as the shell for a transformation that needs to be seen to be believed. Close collaboration between client, designer and the team at Built Construction resulted in a glamorous hair studio where the clients’ customers are relaxed and pampered. Imagination was key here to envision what can be created out of a space. A dusty, cluttered and largely unused space is now filled with light, colour, stylish luxury and happy clients.
